Theme Verse

Philippians 2:12-16 KJV

"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain."

June 7 - 8, 2019

Durham Spanish SDA Church

1606 Liberty St, Durham, NC 27703

With the state of our world today being what it is, it is more important than ever before that we as youth are revived and empowered to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We must rise up and finish the work so the Lord will come to take us home.

Do I have to pay?

No! The conference is free - no costs attached! We believe that loving, knowing, and serving God shouldn't cost anything, and though offerings are more than appreciated, they are not required.

What to expect

Youth conferences and summits can include lots of things.

Here is what you can expect at this one!

Mornings, Evenings, Afternoons (includes the Sabbath School)

Led by the speakers, these will be interactive and spiritually packed sessions where we will receive the Word with open hearts and meditate on the messages shared.

Networking/Small Groups

This time may be integrated into sessions, but this will be time for us to meet those around us, here testimonies, engage with the speakers and the musicians, and really get to know each other as part of the family of God.

Our music team and musical guest will provide us with music that will uplift the soul and point our thoughts toward heaven. Musical pieces will be shared throughout the weekend, and this will be a time for us to meditate on the power music has on us - and how we can use it for good.

We will engage in United, individual, and small group prayer. In these times, we will seek God earnestly on our knees.

We all love food right? Not only will we be able to feed our physical appetites with healthful food, but we will be able to converse and share with those around us and get to know each other over the meals we are sharing.

Part of living the Christian life is living it practically and putting what we learn to use. Outreach is a way that we can bless others with the Gospel, and also bless ourselves spiritually though the experiences, both simple and miraculous, that we come back with and are able to share with others.

Check out our Post-Summit Outreach page for more information on this aspect of the experience.
